Some free scripts are out there and if you know Perl and CGI scripting that would be the way to go. However, Optimization Nation is about saving time and making things easy so the best way to go is with a pre-packaged cloaking software product.

What to look for in cloaking software

• IP Cloaking based product.
• Automatic updating of new search engine spider IPs. New IPs are added all the time and in would be a huge task to keep your list of IP addresses updated manually.
• Some type of automatic page generation ability. While at the same time allow for manual tweaks of cloaked code.
• Reputable company that has been around for a while and offers good support. Many fly-by-night cloaking companies now serve up a “page not found error”.

Optimization Nation Bottom line: Don’t bother with cloaking to increase search engine posistion. Unless you just like expermenting with this type of software as a hobby I really see no advantage in cloaking.
